Can you explain the chapter markings along the Difference River? (Hint: do a text comparison on the passage.) Logos 4 has, in fact, passed this test.
Why is there a Je 11 twice? (trying to understand if the bottom of the dumbell is for chapter 13)
Why is there a Je 11 twice?
That's the problem - what I found so funny.
Warning: if you want to solve the "puzzle" read no further.
[Explanation: the NAB is used as the base text ... the verses 11:19-23 of the NRSV appear between 12:6 & 7 in the NAB]
i am not familiar with these translations.
It is really odd, how the NAB transposed these verses. i'm guessing due to similarity of the passages was the reason for transposing them. You are right thats a puzzle. And i see why the chart matches them. [:)]
The real issue behind the difference is LXX vs. Masorectic text. For the book of Jeremiah, the LXX is shorter. I could play the same sort of game with the new translation of the LXX (NETS) and, I suspect, most Orthodox translations. Catholic translations are inconsistent (compare NAB to NJB). This kind of inconsistency allows me to put Logos through its paces in testing. L3 did poorly but L4, I've rarely been able to trip up.
