Works Cited links pop up to the place in the article of the Book that is citing, not the book that i

Is this correct?

I would expect that the pop up in this case would display page 181 in Best's Commentary on Ephesians, instead it displays the place in the article that cites Best. This seems inconsistent with information displayed in other places of the concordance tool. Is this an error?

This seems inconsistent with information displayed in other places of the concordance tool.

It was done this way to be consistent with the other Concordance views. For example, switch to a Reference concordance and expand the Bible references. If you hover over "Isa 53" (for example, the most popular reference in Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament), you'll see the text from CNTUOT, not the text of Isaiah 53.

Similarly, in Works Cited, the tooltip shows the location that will be opened when you click, not the destination of the hyperlink at that location.

All that to say, this is currently by design, but we're open to feedback.

It is working as I would expect and prefer. Something like CTRL+click for cited would be a nice extension (also across other types of reference for consistency).

Ok, I see your point... and mine as I went back through...

According to your demo, the lexicon reference (1) should just show the book cover metadata (to be consistent) though I certainly prefer the behavior illustrated here. Then I see YOUR point illustrated where the reference is actually cited in the article (2). But as MJ noted, I think a keyboard option would be the best of both worlds. thanks for this new feature by the way...it has great potential, please don't think I am be critical, I am steadily impressed with the development of new tools, and the beta access to try them out :-)
