On a Mac, what folder do I find the Logos 4 Mac Resources? I'm wanting to see how much current hard drive space Logos 4 Mac and all the book resources are taking up.

/Users/<your user name>/Library/Application Support/Logos4/Data/<some random string>/ResourceManager/Resources
Though, that's only your resources. Your indexes take up nearly as much space, so the answer to your question is probably better represented by looking at how much space is used by the Logos4 directory in Application Support.
For Platinum w/ zero additional resources, it's about 12GB of disk space used, not including the application bundle.

/Users/<your id>/Library/Application Support/Logos4 folder has Logos 4 resources, indexes, and stuff - Scholar's Platinum plus few more books using 12.61 GB in A12.
Inside .../Logos4/Data/<random>/ResourceManager/Resources folder are digital resources: 8.51 GB (1,447 items)
For comparison, Logos for Mac 1.2.2 resources are in /Library/Application Support/Libronix DLS/Resources using 6.5 GB (1,414 items)
By the way, Logos 4 A12 application uses 177 MB while Logos for Mac 1.2.2 uses 21.3 MB.

Ok so another reason Logos ticks me off. I have resources in:
- Library/Application Support/LibronixDLS/Resources
- ~Library/Application Support/LibronixDLS/Resources
and now more in ~Library/Application Support/Logos4/
That is ridiculous!
So, what happens when I want to install L4 under a windows 7 Virtual Machine and I want to point to the shared resources folder?
Oh never mind. You can't even launch the Windoz version without re-downloading all 7.6 GBs of resources.

I own a notebook with a 60gb ssd drive. Its fast but small. Now I installed Logos 4 and it swollows more than 5gbs. In logos 3 I could keep books I seldom use offline, on removable media. Now I have no idea how to accomplish this.
I am running out of space on my drive, I need to reduce the size of logos 4.0b. Any ideas?

Start requesting cloud computing features for Logos 5 now. since we don't use all of the resources all the time, we could have frequents cached locally. The data center is getting smaller and cheaper. Of course that might introduce monthly support contracts which I really dislike when software companies do that.

You could hide resources you don't use in the program settings and then delete those files off of your harddrive manually. Come to think of it, Logos should delete files you have hidden. I don't know if it currently does this, but it would be a nice feature.

I appreciate that laptops may in be a different position, but what is even 20 gigs for an iMac? If someone is concerned about HDD space, then perhaps moving photos or movies or music on to an external drive may be the answer. And after 5 years steady use, including about 400 pdf files of journal articles, Office 2007, Logos 3 and a squillion resources and Endnote with thousands of references, my notes in OneNote and Word files, my trusty Toshiba tablet M200 with all of 60 gigs of HDD still is just over 75% full. I doubt that I shall fill it any time soon.
I don't do movies and very have only a few hundred pictures, so the last thing I am worried about is running out of space on my HDD. In over 20 years of bible study and sermon preparation, funeral and wedding orders of service, agendas, minutes and correspondence, all my documents (and I have saved everything I've ever done and delete nothing) fit on to a 2 gig stick. Another 2 gig stick holds every invoice, bank statement, phone bill, etc. in pdf form. A 2 gig SD card holds backups of all my university research work including notes, docs and source pdf files. Then I have 2 gigs in the cloud in DropBox for moving stuff around between computers.
I'm sorry, I just don't get the problem.
Given the size of library I have Platinum + SESB 3.0 + a wheen (Scots for a large number) of extras, I am amazed that Logos can squeeze all that with indexes and engine into less than 20 gigs.

Logos does indeed delete hidden resources from your hard drive.
