but, when I click on a word in the CNTUOT, in this case "fortiori", Power Lookup launches. This happened twice in succession.
Hi Dan,
When I right-click on that word in the commentary, there are no suggested keylink resources as there are with other words in the text, and when I look up 'fortiori', no dictionaries include it. Opening the Power Lookup must be the default function in this situation.

Why is this? It annoys me because it messes up my layout, and I just have to close the Power Lookup window.

I don't know why, but will find out. ~ Melissa
"a fortiori" is in Merrian Webster. I wonder if this word can be seen by logos together (a + fortiori) or, when "fortiori" appears, just open Merrian. It does not appear in Pocket Dictionary of Theological terms (tho i would think it should!) even though a priori does . . .
that was a bit weird, never the less. Power look up only dealt with reference links, I thought. Should not open up on double click of just a word, should it?
Anyway, I just closed power lookup with no real mess up of my layout. Just an odd occurrence that probably needs to be eradicated.
Thanks for weighing in.
I've asked for it before and I shall request it again....Logos should allow look-ups on multi-word selections. Case in point above. I am forced to do a whole library search for look up multi-word dictionary entries when right-clicking.
Ehh...it's a mess because I have to close it. But it is what always happens when you keylink on a word that is not found in any reference. I get it all the time. (It's also what happens when you click on link with an undefined datatype).
lol, Todd, I can tell this is a pet peeve. Probably isn't one of mine, because this is my first experience. But you are correct in what would be nice for the program to do. [8-|]
Peace. [Y]
This has been requested. See this post: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/2522.aspx.

That was a long time ago --most forum users can't read that thread in the private beta group.
Haven't heard anything about it since then, so I wanted to bring it back to the attention of the devs.
Also, any further insight on the reason for Power Lookup opening for no reason when a word isn't found. [;)]
