basic search function not working

I just purchased a new set of books which downloaded fine, but now my basic search function stopped working.  No matter what I search for it takes 0.02 seconds or so and says no results.

it seems you posted yesterday in another thread https://community.logos.com/forums/p/103497/744767.aspx#744767 where it appeared that for such an issue, rebuilding the index will be the solution. Your description fits a broken index, so this could well be the case.

You lost even a die-heart Mac user (much more me poor Windows guy) when you wrote about weird keystrokes. Forget them and do like this:

• Just sit in front of your Logos 6 - whether you see the homepage or any other screen or layout is irrelevant - there is a large input field in the middle of the top of the screen, this is called the command box.
• Type (or past from a copy e.g. from here) Rebuild index into this command box and hit Enter / Return or click the command as it is presented to you by the automatic pop-up
• Wait until the index has been rebuilt - this could be several hours.
