OT: You know you're sad when...

... you need sentence diagramming, but dont want to install Logos 3 just to use it.

I know its coming eventually, and I await it eagerly, I have tried a few out alternative. with varying success.. but none exited me, so I was wondering what to do in the intervening period.

I got the urge to try to write something for myself for my needs.. and now have a lot of respect for the Logos3 one, it is a clever bit of coding..

mine still needs a lot of work, but is at least functional for my needs

I guess I must be sad..

Have you tried any MindMapping tools, like MindManager? It offers a different style of diagramming, but useful nontheless.

What about Freemind (open source) or online mindmapping tools?

Wouldn't it just be easier to install L3? Diagramming is the only thing I use it for anymore.

probably, and I may end up doing so... but also wanted a fridge magnet type program.. so two birds with one stone
