BUG with scroll wheel?

I am trying to set the vertical mouse scroll wheel so that if I click the wheel once it goes one line in reading the Bible (say ESV). It defaults to 3, so I set it down to 2, then 1, and it seems to scroll the same, about 2 lines. I wonder if Logos uses its own scroll metrics instead of looking at what the user has set in the Mouse applet under Control Panel? In any case I cannot get it to scroll one line at a time, does anyone have luck doing this?

I can confirm this is a problem for me as well. I have noticed other peculiarities as well. For instance, try the following and see what your installation does.
Open a search window in basic search and type in something. Scrolling down should work perfectly.
Change to Bible search and hit enter to perform the search.
Grid view scrolls properly.
Verses view doesn't scroll until you move the slider down a little. Then it scrolls backward...up is down and down is up.
Aligned view and Analysis view are as above. Notice that if you get to the end scrolling gets 'stuck'.
Notes windows are backwards as well.
Passage guide works correctly.
What are your results?

I can reproduce this and will report it. Users also want to be able scroll through more lines of text more quickly with one full scroll of the wheel, which has also been reported. I don't know if there is a conflict between these two goals, but development will look into it.

I'm not able to reproduce this. What are your system specs? Do you have a wireless mouse?

If I understand you properly all mine appear to work the same. The scrolling works right away and does not get stuck at the bottom. Not sure what couldbe the culprit, could be an old mouse driver, the mouse, are you on XP which is older, etc..

Very strange. I have two machines, and both work exactly the same way. One is Window 7 in a parallels virtual machine on a MacBook Pro. It happens both with the track pad and with a wireless mouse. The other machine is a windows xp pro machine that is custom built with a quad core processor on an asus motherboard. It is using a Logitech wireless mouse. I find it extremely coincidental that both machines work exactly the same way. The only thing similar about the two is my account.

Dewayne ~ Is it possible that both of your wireless mice need fresh batteries? ~ Thanks, Melissa

I just must not be making myself clear. I will try to go into great detail here to clarify. Keep in mind that this occurs on both before mentioned machines with both wireless mice and internal track pad.
The Basic search works perfectly. Scrolling is as expected.
The Bible search under grid view works properly.
The Bible search under verses view does not work properly.
I have to physically click in the scroll bar to move the search away from the beginning of the list.
Then it will allow scrolling. But up is down and down is up. When the scroll bar handle hits the top or bottom, scrolling no longer works until your again click in the scroll bar or drag the handle.

Bible aligned doesn't work, reverses and sticks as above.
Bible analysis does scroll without sticking, but is reversed.
Morph in verses view does not scroll, is reversed and sticks.
Morph in align view is the same.
Morph in Analysis scrolls but is reversed and doesn't stick.
This is the same on both machines. There must be someone out there with similar results. Thanks.

You have my sympathy - I hate it when that happens.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."
