DVD Installation
I received my DVD yesterday and installed on my laptop running win 7 rc. The installation was flawless however still indexing this am. My computer specs: Inspiron 6000; 2 GB ; 100 GB 7200 rpm; 2.00 cpu. I did the download to my desktop over the weekend. Just out of curiosity, how did my customized layouts and installed shortcuts from the download desktop install appear with the DVD installation? Were they stored somewhere online? Were they retreived through my network?
Thanks!

This is due to the Synchronization feature that will sync computers logged into Logos 4 under the same login name. It can be turned off and on by typing: set sync to no or set sync to yes in the Command box. It is turned on by default.

Hi Melissa.
You didn't answer Warren's question in full. I'm interested to know the "Are they stored online part", because I'm wondering whether this will work for me if I boot directly into Vista instead of running Logos under VMware under Linux. (Same machine, but they're never both running at the same time).
Regards,
Nigel

Installed DVD on my laptop at about 11:00am and it is now 6:26. I occasionally checked the status, and last number I saw was low thirties. That was a couple of hours ago, and now there is no indication as to the number of resources left. It only says "Logos Bible Software is indexing your library." no number of resources left. I fear shutting it down lest it start indexing from the beginning.
