Peace brother. This is a known copying bug that occurs when text contains footnotes. A workaround is to make the panel that contains the text you want to copy the active panel by clicking in the text. Then go to the print menu (or hit command P) and select the PDF button. choose the "open in preview" option. Select the text you want to copy in preview and then copy and paste wherever you desire.

BTW, This issue will be fixed when A13 comes out sometime tomorrow.
This is really frustrating - looking forward to A 13 - no sign yet and its 10:30 am - check Seattle Time and it still only 3 am.
Suggestion - either
1. Get up earlier
or
2. Move office to GMT
Hope this helps
Mike
Still Crashing when doing Command C for Copy/Paste Function. Not sure if we thought this was fixed or not with A13a - but it's still happening.

One more thing - when the Crash occurs - Logos forgets what your last session looked like - namely which book were opened, window position etc - it reverts back to the previously saved layout.
I'm having the same issue with A13a - it was working fine for me in the earlier versions. Here's my Log and Console Messages.
3034.Console Messages.log
7725.Logos4.log
I was just able to reliably reproduce this with A14. It only seems to appear in some passages in some resources. Most recently, The Bible Knowledge Commentary - Ecc 7:27-29.
It happens to me when I'm attempting to copy anything in the NIV it seems. Very frustrating when I'm writing research papers. I'm trying to ween myself off of Libronix, and this is a real set back.

It'll be fixed in the next alpha.
