logos icon is not opening

Good evening,

I have tried to open the Logos Icon on my MacBook Pro, it jumps up and down like it is going to open but then it freezes and does not open.

Please help.

Try opening it through "Launch Pad" on the Mac. There was a bug with a recent update that prevented the shortcut from working the first time after the update. Should work from the icon after that.

What version of OS X are you running? NOTE: if you are on El Capitan beta, Faithlife does not support Logos on beta builds of operating systems. 

If you are running Yosemite or earlier, try opening the app from the applications folder. If that doesnt work, try downloading the newest version of the software engine and installing it manually. See the "install" link in my signature line.

Hi Watson, 

Welcome to the forums. Sorry to hear about this problem - a glitch seems to have hit quite a lot of Mac Users.

But all is not lost [:)]

Look at the bottom of Alabama post for the word 'Install' if you follow that link and let the engine download and reinstall you will likely find that almost all  your problems will be over.

The process is quite painless and should take but a moment.
