I am not entirely sure as to what would be the best way to implement this, but it would be good if there could be a way to draw posters attention to issues when they reach a certain magnitude. The current example would be the sign-on problem as threads multiply from users who have not seen that it is already addressed in multiple places.

What I am thinking of is what can be seen sometimes on support website, like a red banner that says "information on upgrading to Windows 10", something equivalent to nba.com's pulse or perhaps a scrolling "breaking news" type of banner (only for when they are such news indeed).

As it is, information gets scattered, the forum cluttered, and human resources (staff or forum helpers) needlessly overspent.

Just a thought... perhaps others will have better suggestions yet.
