Anyone tried setting Use Internet to No to test performance increase?

Not sure what performance issues that are occurring, but I'm using a Lenovo R61 with 2 Gigs of ram. Once I set the USE Internet option to No, I noticed a increase in the updates in the Information window as well as the load time of the program from a cold reboot of the system. It took the program about 74 secs to fully load. Once Logos 4 was load I performed a Sync Now. Hope this help with the performance.

The processor is more important here, but overall you will save a lot of background sync'ing and that will reduce lag when opening/closing tabs or setting up a search.

I did not time everything, but I could not detect any difference. I switched layouts, found a different address in the PG, and clicked on a commentary that was linked to 4 Bible and 5 other commentaries. I did this twice to eliminate false results due to caching. It appeared the same to me with or without the internet.
