Adding an image to a user note file

Is it possible to add an image (.jpeg or otherwise) to a user note file entry?  I have tried a few times to do this with no luck.  I believe a friend of mine was able to do it.

    No not possible AFAIK, functionality was removed a long time ago, but you could make it  a personal book which does allow images
