The DVD arrived today. Before I proceed with the install (and rather than comb thru the bazillion posts here) can someone offer a short list of helps? I have moved my LLS 2files, and will be doing an install on a Corei7 6G and a laptop dual core with 3G. Thanks.

    I also moved all my PBB's (.lbxoeb extension files - except for some help files) out of the default directory (since L4 doesn't work with them anyway). My indexing took about 4 hours to complete. But I did not play around with L4 after the opening screen popped up, since it was still indexing. I think that probably helped shorten the indexing time. In fact, the less you use your system during the indexing the quicker it will complete.

    Also, make sure your system is up to date with the latest Windows updates.

    Turn off any background tasks that might use up valuable processor time, and especially anything that may read/write to the disk (Google Desktop, e.g.).

    Beyond that, you should be good to go.
