IIRC this publication quirk is the result of getting the text itself out to users quickly while the apparatus was known to be delayed.

While I hope you are right, this was not the case with the NA27 or UBS4. I still do not have an apparatus for either of these, as they were not included in the base packages for Logos 3, 4, or 5.

It is also worth noting that neither BHS and nor the LXX edited by Rahlfs include the apparatus that is part and parcel of the print version. The text can be obtained in base packages, but not the apparatus.
