changing the default passage guide layout ...

hello everyone.
Is it possible to change the default layout of the passage guide? Not just the content...I found the thread on how to do that...but I'm guessing I missed something...

here's what I forgot to say ... how can I get this guide to open when I type a reference on the "Home" page?

Have you named your new template "My Passage Guide"? That name and only that name will be used as the default.
Orthodox Bishop Alfeyev: "To be a theologian means to have experience of a personal encounter with God through prayer and worship."; Orthodox proverb: "We know where the Church is, we do not know where it is not."

Yea!
the content changes ... if I delete or add a section, but the layout doesn't ...check this out
I have logos 6, the URL above looks like an earlier version, maybe something's changed

the way I've been doing it is using a saved layout and ignoring the home page ... maybe that's the best way...

Are you talking about the layout of the entire window? That you cannot change. [I see this is what you meant - sorry for misunderstanding. See https://wiki.logos.com/Layouts__ and don't go through the home page.]
Are you talking about a passage for which you already have a saved Passage Guide? the old one will be picked up without change.
Are you talking about which sections are expanded? that depends upon your last close of a Passage Guide.
I thought you were asking about sections and their sequence in the Passage Guide which you imply is working.

no, not a saved passage...
and, yea, changing the sections and sequence in the passage guide is working
thanks for all the time you put into trying to help me!
