Sympathetic Highlighting

Recently my sympathetic highlighting stopped working in my NA27 and BHS. For years now i've been reading my greek and hebrew texts with the highlighting I created in my visual filters. I haven't changed anything...the "sympathetic highlighting" box checked in both of these resources. Not sure why they're not working anymore

Any thoughts?

Sympathetic highlighting and the highlighting you get from Visual Filters are different things so checking that box isn't going to affect what happens with Visual Filters.

Have you checked - further down in the Visual Filter menu - whether the main Visual Filter section is enabled as well as the Visual Filters themselves?

There are two boxes that must be checked for sympathetic highlighting, I believe.

Do Bible Searches on the resources still work correctly? That's a way of testing that the indexes have not become corrupt - something that could cause the problem.

Thanks Graham. I see what you mean...what I'm actually referring to is my visual filter.

I checked to see if I had a main Visual filter section in the two resources I've created visual filters for (NA 27 and BHS) and there's not an option for checking visual filters. I'm using Logos for Mac. Does that make a difference?

MJ, thank for your help. Both of those boxes are checked in my resources. But I checked to see if I could search within these resources as you suggested and NOTHING! I used to be able to highlight and search a particular word or phrase in these two resources but not anymore. So if you're right, that this may indicate my indexes have become corrupt, what do you recommend from this point?

enter "rebuild bible index" into the command box to reindex and things should be fine.
