Out of curiosity, is there a listing of which Bibles are available is which countries or not available in all countries? I recently read a post concerning the NIV, and that prompted my question concerning other Bibles.

Your question is quite vague. What do you mean by "available"? Do you mean which bible's can be purchased in LOGOS in all countries? Available in print?
AFAIK the NIV is the only version with geographic restrictions.
FYI The New Jerusalem Bible is restricted to North American only.

I wish that was true.... I love the NJB and thankfully being in North America I own it but in UK where it is even more popular Logos cannot distribute it because DLT has distribution rights outside of NA.

PS: Speaking of which it is exciting days for those of us who are NJB lovers... FL is finally giving us a chance to get the full Bible with i's in-depth translations notes rather than the 1990 readers edition.

Not just in Logos, but curious of the geographical restrictions of translations in general. Are these publisher restrictions or are the Bibles restricted from use/purchase by the country itself? And is there a listing somewhere that lists which Translations are restricted by which country? For example, if I carry the KJV in a certain country, would I be in danger of being executed? Or, if I carry the NIV84 in another country, would I be in danger of life in prison? Or, yet another, if I carry the ESV to a country, would that country fine me a life's savings? Etc.
Something such as this would be good to know beforehand. [:)]

Thanks Alabama; I was exaggerating a little (or maybe not). As one, who believes that the Bible should be available everywhere, I am noticing issues with this being the case in these modern times.

Burning at the stake!!Why is Logos not allowed to sell ANY outside the USA whereas when I can buy the hard copy from Amazon.com sent directly to the UK with a UK credit card? They do only allow me to buy one, however, so (presumably) I cannot sell them as a business over here.

I am not sure what you mean by this, but the reverse is true as well. There are resources which are available in the UK but not in the US.

Sorry that my comment was rather opaque. Start again. As far as I can see, all books that Logos are only allowed to sell to users within the USA, can still be bought as dead trees from Amazon.com and shipped by them to the UK. It looks as if Amazon have a squeezed a better deal from the publishers than Logos have. I was not thinking "poor Brits" I was thinking "Poor Logos having less clout than Amazon.com" . I have no idea if Amazon.co.uk will supply books to the USA that are supposed to be sold only within the UK. Protectionism is alive and well in the book trade unless you are Amazon.

Have you checked for the SAME books in Kindle? You likely aren't allowed to purchase the kindle version from the US store either.
The funniest one I have heard of so far: There are a number of Anglophiles in the US who are particular about their Cadbury chocolate. The company has agreements with Hershey's in the States, so retailers aren't allowed to sell the version from across the pond. Apparently there is a difference in texture and creaminess. Local shops who have imported the other version have been sued and issued "cease and desist" letters. [:s]

If someone made up the story about Cadbury, no one would believe them, it seems so preposterous. What a mad world we are in. I can understand restrictions regarding sale of foods on the grounds of avoiding importing pests but this is just old fashioned protectionism.
It is not so much protectionism as it is seen as the same as you going to NA and purchasing a book and bringing it back.. Amazon.com is US based so you can get NA versions from them. I have ordered books from England because they were available there only. Books that are physical are actual more free flowing than digital content which has very strict distribution rules. Kindle is a good example. I cannot order books from Kindle us but only kindle Canada (I would guess you are restricted to kindle.co.uk). Now most likely there are a few books that they can not sell in Canada but are sold in the united states (Harry Potter print books distribution rights are or were to a smaller press in Canada so the ). Even distributers oftentimes get around the laws... my leather pocket version of the NJB was purchased from the Canadian Bible Society store even though technically retailers should not have been allowed to sell the DLT version in Canada. But being that DoubleDay had never made a leather edition, they got permission to bring in a shipment of them in (indeed by that time i think the Hard Cover pocket edition had gone out of print, leaving no smaller edition being available for order).
