Yeah, I should wait for them to post release notes, but thought I'd go ahead and post that I just received a 40 meg download.
Checked the help page and its now saying beta 8. Haven't noticed anything new yet though

I agree, not a lot of good not knowing what changes to look for. If you find anything, let the rest of us know....
My guess is that someone is stuck in a cubical, busily typing away at the release notes hoping to beat any eager beavers like us before speculation runs rampant. I haven't noticed any new tools or functions, but it does seem snappier to me.

Seems to me that there has been some optimization. I did a BWS and it returned everything much quicker than the last time I did the same (test). Don't have times but it sure seems snappier.
Arggh! I can't wait to try this out and see what has changed, but I've committed to waiting so I can help Logos troubleshoot why I (and some others) keep getting stuck at "downloading updates (0% of 38.2 MB)" forever. See this thread: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/11436.aspx

Well the View for Collections still reverts to book icons and having toggled it a couple of times Beta 8 crashed!
Also got the usual duplication+ of Collections.
I'll report these in new threads.
