Two suggestions re: Visual Filters by Passage List

This is a very useful feature and it works very smoothly. I have two suggestions that would enhance it for my purposes.

1. I'd like to be able to see which filter selected the passage via a hover over the citation.

2. I'd like the option to see the selected verses in context with the selected verses highlighted.

I am excited about some tasks I can now achieve ... love this.

How is this for cool - a Passage list filter for the 613 mitzvoth combined with a show words with same root!!

It is a frequently requested feature ... and is a system requirement for seeing what passages are/are not covered by a lectionary, Bible study program etc. The nice things about Logos is you don't have to use it. [:P]

I'd like that, too.

I think we have some search amenities on the list that will get you what you want there. Specifically, we're considering to add a search syntax to specify a {Milestone ...} search via a passage list name, which would find and highlight all the verses in the passage list without filtering out the surrounding text. Then "Next Search Result" would jump you to the next verse in the list.

You can simulate this now with the ever-tedious:

{Milestone <Ge 1:28>} OR {Milestone <Ge 17:10>} OR ...

(But don't. This will get VERY slow as you add more references, because it's doing a lot of repetitive work with the not-very-fast milestone index.)

And someday (someday!) we'll let different instances of the same panel have different visual filters applied, so you could scroll two versions of the same Bible together with different filters. [:(]

In the meantime, you could apply the passage list filter to one version of the Bible, then link it to another version, unfiltered. It wouldn't highlight the filter verses, but it would get you one step closer.
