Scroll Bar vs. Arrows at bottom of resource

Hi,

I use Verbum 6 and some documents have a scroll bar on the right and others have two triangle arrows at the bottom for scrolling.  Is there a setting for this or is it a default based on the resource?

Also, when I use the mouse wheel to scroll through the document, it works differently depending on the type of scrolling the document has.  If it's a scroll bar to the right, the document moves smoothly when I use the wheel.  If the two triangles arrows are at the bottom, the scroll wheel jumps a whole screen at a time.

Am I missing a setting that will make this consistent for all documents?

It sounds like you have columns set to 1 (or more). Scrolling view is columns set to "none." If you like to scroll, you must set columns to none, else, you are doing a page turn. This is changed in the resource menu (book cover).

NOTE: This is a "per resource" setting. Does that answer your question?
