Exporting Quotes into Pages, Footnotes

I just upgraded both computer and the Logos engine from 5 to 6. On my old computer, I could export quotes from Logos into Pages, and I would get a footnote automatically produced.

Now, what is happening is that I am getting the information of the source reference, but as additional text in the body of my document - not as a footnote.

I've talked with support with Logos and Apple, and couldn't get any help. Does anyone else have this problem, and is there a workaround besides just manually creating the footnotes myself?

I filed a software fix request with Apple, and that may be where my problem is. Any and all help would be appreciated. Thanks

I feel your pain.

I have been asking about this for well over a year. Evidently, Logos doesn't know how program footnoting to 'new' Pages (been out for quite some time) as Apple hasn't released that information. I thought I read a post about this being fixed in the latest beta, but when I tried it - not luck. Logos crew...please help us out! Thank you!

What makes you think that this an Apple problem? We have seen where features (copy Bible verses, replace with passage, and so forth) that once worked in Pages no longer worked when an update to Logos was installed and were later fixed by Faith Life. This may be the same. I don't use Pages for my sermons or Bible studies (I use Office 2011 Word) so have not noticed the problem with exporting footnotes.

What makes you think that this an Apple problem?

It did not fail with the release of a new version of Logos, but with a new version of Pages. Thus, it seems reasonable to believe that it is an Apple problem.
