BUG: When copying a verse (or verses) into Lebre Office, the footnote appears twice under the verse

When I copy a verse, (or section of verses), into Libre Office ( a free option to MS Word), the footnote appears twice under the verse in the Libre Office (powerpoint) slide. This is new and was not an issue before.

I.E.  

¹⁴ And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth. ¹⁵

This is new and was not an issue before.

This is probably an unintended side-effect of a fix that was recently made to support Pages (which doesn't support footnotes properly).

I'll create a case to get this fixed; sorry for the inconvenience.
