I have Logos 6 and recently installed Win 10. The 115 mg logos update won't install. Tried a few times, and still won't work. Any thoughts?
Did it crash? Was there a message?
If you compress (zip) the Logos Log Files folder in Documents and upload it - see https://wiki.logos.com/Diagnostic_Logging - we might have a better idea.
The error message like most is not very helpful. It just says Logos software update did not install.
4212.Logos Log FilesZip.zip
Here are the log files. The exact language of the error notice was "The installation of Logos Bible Software did not succeed."
Thanks in advance for your help.
I have exactly the same problem. I tried to run the installer .msi file and it stall when it tries to write to a logos 4 directory libronix directory resources dll. It says I don't have permission to use the file but I in fact do have full permissions.
Stephen (and IHSA)
Same fix. Establish ownership of the Logos folder (Stephen's is C:\Users\Stephen\AppData\Local\Logos4\. IHSA's is similar but the foldername could be "Logos" or "Logos5") - see https://www.logos.com/support/logos5/windows/error-writing-to-file
