I seem to have broke my Logos install

Today I followed instructions from this wiki article (https://wiki.logos.com/Install_in_different_folder_or_drive) to move my Logos files to my drive from C: drive to free up space on the latter. I opted to use the instructions to Move to a different drive. Everything seemed to work okay at the time. But since then Logos has been acting weird and is currently downloading about 3 GB worth of updates. The updates are downloading to the C: drive again based off of the fact that the free space on C: is steadily decreasing.

At this time, I think it may be better for me to uninstall/reinstall Logos. The issue I have is 1.) I'm not sure where to get the installer files for Logos 6, and 2.) Does the installer that a person uses dependent on what package you own? To be honest, I'm not even sure what package I own as I've upgraded a few times from the days of Logos 4.

I appreciate any helpful tips I can get.

Hi Brant - and welcome to the forums.

Sorry you are having problems.

The installer is available from https://www.logos.com/product/46767/logos-6-core-engine (at the bottom) and is the same irrespective of package.

But note deinstalling / deleting files / reinstalling will require another download.

One problem is retaining the drive letter for a removable drive e.g. could be used by your printer or by any other removable drive So you want to change it to something like E: using this web article (which is the same for Win 10), and this will be remembered.

To completely uninstall Logos and reinstall:-

cancel the download
save your resources which should be on the drive
uninstall Logos from Control Panel >> Programs and Features
delete the Logos folder from both the C: drive and the drive (see wiki article above)
re-assign the drive to E:
install Logos to the E: drive as per the wiki Method 3 (above link)

Thanks to all who replied. I was able to get Logos completely uninstalled and a clean install done on my new drive. I let it download and index overnight. All appears to be just fine this morning.
