.NET Framework 4.5 - clean install

Hi. I'm reinstalling my office pc (windows 7). Everything was going well until I tried to install Logos 6. I've followed all the steps but don't get very far - a notification stating, "The installation of Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5 did not succeed" appears.

I have installing said framework separately - but still get same message.

HELP!

No error code, just the message, then stops.

Rejoice with me for I have found the problem and, more importantly, the answer. I had forgotten how old my copy of Windows 7 is. All I had to do is install Service Pack 1 and everything works. All I have to do now is download a 1000+ books!
