I'm really looking forward to reading this. Is anyone else?

I have his Jewish Trinity Mobile Ed course, so I skipped this resource. Would be interested in the differences between the two however.
I would love to hear a review of this course as well.
I got disgusted with the quizzes and examines, and did not finish. Rather than test your grasp of the material, the tests ask for recall of obscure verse references. As you will probably see from The Hidden Realm, Dr Heiser has some rather unique views in this area. Not saying that I disagree, just that they are unique. I need to go back and finish the course and just ignore the tests.
Any discounts on this one since there was no prepub price

I don't like this type of testing either but it is pretty common.

For quite some time now I've been interested in Dr. Heiser's research and opinions and that's why I'm especially interested in his new book. Here are some interesting links.

There was a prepub price. I'm waiting for it to ship, so I can start reading.
I am. Waiting for the right moment to purchase (funds availability or extreme sale of 0.99-2.99 whichever comes 1st). [:)]
There was a prepub price.
Not sure how I missed that. [:S]

$10 less than the price now.
I never saw prepub price. Every time the page asked me to preorder it only took me to another page that asked for my email to let me know when it would be available But nothing about preorderinfo price. So something needs to be done to get us prepub price since we didn't know about it and the page they used to advertise didn't do its job.

This was my experience too.

There, that makes 2 of us. Please Logos, we want the book. Give us Prepub price (or free for the mental stress this has caused j/k ). Prepub price will be fine
my prepub was created on Feb 3 for this book.
I don't remember what I did to get it, but I do remember having to do an email address. It might have come in an email.
Wish I could help more.
There was a Pre-Pub for The Unseen Realm that was posted for ~30 minutes on Feb 3 but was quickly taken down. Kenneth appears to be one of 15 people who saw it before it was taken down.
The listed Pre-Pub price was honored for these 15 orders and they should be processed and unlocked for their accounts.
Wow, I guessed I missed that 30 minutes. [;)]

Well that doesn't help Maybe I'll get it as part of a 50% off Twitter or FB deal some day hint, hint
Just as well I did not see it - being a cautious guy I usually think about things for a day or so first and would be feeling a bit sick now having seen it but then missed it!
30 minutes on Feb 3? I didn't even hear about the book until their was a discount on the other Heiser book and nothing pre-pub. Very weird and not very Logos like.
Is this right? I just clicked "Buy" on the Logos page. Then, I decide to check Amazon. It is $5 cheaper for Kindle. How can that be? I thought he was a Logos "resident"?
The hard cover print version is cheaper than Logos. This is a Lexham Press release, right?
I was one of the blessed 15!
Well, FWIW I just snagged it, and will add it to my reading. I'm already fairly well versed with the edges of Dr. Heiser's views here and found his material after wrestling with some of the same passages, so I'm really interested in seeing it all fleshed out in one place.

Amazon is able to set their own price but I agree, it would have been nice it that price matched Logos.
This is what I find confusing about Faithlife once in a while - the resources that they generate should (in my humble opinion) drive users to use their platforms.
You can bet that if Amazon published books (which they do with Kindle singles and so on), they would be priced in a way that increased the visibility of their platform.
This book looks interesting but at this price, I will wait for it to go on sale.
PS: Might be a good unlock for Now subscribers

Michael,
The Logos edition has capabilities the Kindle version does not.
Now we need his dissertation on The Divine Council in Logos. I've lobbied him for it, but maybe if there is demand from others...
Are all of you aware that if you form a relationship with one of the sales people at Logos you might get a nice discount? I learned this from the Fora (Latin neuter plural of Forum) some time ago. My discount took the price down a long way (but not as far down as $15).
The phone may be too expensive for many of you outside the US, but I guess you could do it via email. Being in the States I do it with my phone plan's "unlimited calling".
Now we need his dissertation on The Divine Council in Logos.
That would be great to have in Logos.
Just in case you've missed it, the companion website has a direct link to his dissertation (full text ) in PDF format. Many times, a Doctoral dissertation, as I understand it, becomes the effective property of the conferring university - which is to say, it may not be in Dr. Heisser's capacity to give it to Logos. This is of course - only a guess.
I usually think about things for a day or so first
I do the same thing. I saw the pre-pub and wanted to think about it as well. Can't believe they left it there for 30 minutes!

That is why reading- then re-reading- then really critiquing anyone's work is extremely important- I have already started reaching out to some very good men regarding this work-.
Not saying anything negative at all here just every work needs to have a period of good scrutiny [;)]
I've had his dissertation for some time, but citation-heavy dissertations read quite well in Logos, with the scripture pop-ups and such. I'd like to see it get the Logos treatment.
This week I finished reading The Unseen Realm and I must say that I really enjoyed it. Much of Dr. Heiser's work over the years has stimulated and challenged my thinking about this topic and this book is a great summary of his work. I have much to continue to study and ponder.
If you have not already picked up your copy I would strong recommend that you do.

i am glad you have finished reading it. I am about a third of the way through it.
I am going to hear him speak on the subject in November, about an hour from where I live. So I plan to finish reading through the book once and during the second time through to read and follow the footnotes.
if my math is correct I should be getting this one for around eight dollars and change pretty soon Or less

I'd love to attend too but will have to settle on hearing a report after you go.

Correct Logos have honoured those 15 orders but Logos have dis-honoured the rest of your loyal customers by not giving them an opportunity to purchase at a pre-publication price. This is very disappointing Logos for a Lexham Press published title, particularly given the extremely high price point you have now set for this title. I looked so many times for a pre-pub of this title from the point I first saw it mentioned - and I was wasting my time. Thanks Logos much appreciated - not!
