Logos starting up whenever I reboot

Anyone have a clue as to why Logos starts up whenever I reboot and restart my mac laptop? I cant seem to find a way to disable, wither through Logos preferences, or my mac preferences. TIA Cindy

Two suggestions:
- Do you have "reopen windows" checked when you restart your mac? See screen shot below.
- Do you have Logos listed in "Login items"? [System Preferences | Users & Groups | (Your Account Name) | Login Items]?

Thank you sooo much!!!! I knew about unchecking the box when I restart, but had NO idea about the huge list of things that were starting up at login!!! It answered my other questions too!! Thanks a million!

The Logos icon is open at the top tool bar (along with Dropbox, Google Drive, Wifi, etc.), and it starts indexing when my computer comes on, but I don't want this to happen. I only want it to open and/or index when I open Logos manually. I can't figure out how to get it off my icons and to prevent it from indexing.

For clarification: When I restart the computer, the icon appears, lasts for no more than 15 seconds, then disappears. Does this describe what you are seeing? If not, please create a new thread and explain a bit more.

I see. I just let it finish indexing, and it went away. I suppose that's all it needed to do, but it would slow my computer down for a bit. Anyway, problem resolved. Thanks again.
