SUGGESTION: A more permanent list of recently acquired resources...

Howdy,

Yesterday I purchased Starter for Logos 6, and received numerous resources new to my library. On my Home Page, there was a list available of all the documents just added. I "introduced myself" to these volumes by opening each one up, and reviewing the contents, thus adding it to my Library's "Recently Viewed" sort capability.

Now this morning I ordered a Vyrso free book. It is the sole volume in my Recent Resources list on the Home Page.

I would like to be able to go to that list, again, of new resources added with the Starter acquisition, without having to open each book first.

Open your library- you should be able to click "Last Updated"- it should list them according download- today, monday, tuesday etc or by date:

Hi Paul

One way that a lot of users do this is by tagging all resources purchased in one go with a "BoughtDate" tag - such as "Bought1Sep15" - or a "Package" tag - such as "Logos6Starter". Details on tagging available at https://wiki.logos.com/Tagging (some of the details have changed but the principles are still valid)

Then you can filter your library with your tag and get you what you are looking for.

Well, I'll be Doggoned! The trick is to use the "Details" view, and to open the Library into a floating window, and then (on my smaller monitor) scroll.

My goodness! You taught me so much, Mr. Grizzard. Hope you don't mind, but I saved your graphic for future reference. Really like the way you've laid out your toolbar up top, with all of the icons. That picture taught me a thousand lessons!

This is exactly what I'd hoped for, and searched "Help" for, but could not find.

Glad to be of a little help- I think just about everyone here has setup their L6 or whatever version they have to suit their personal needs. The advise I can offer is as you learn look for ways to make your study time most useful, remember your needs and processes may change over time- others on here are far more experienced than I am, and will be more than happy to lend a hand.

I'm not in the habit of purchasing these starter (etc) packages Logos offers so I may well be wrong, but have you checked your Order History? I imagine it has a list of your purchases.

It does say which package you have purchased - but it doesn't itemise what resources you acquired as part of that.

But if you click on the package name in the list does it not detail its contents?

I just tried what you suggested, and it does, indeed, list the resources you own with your package. Thank you so much!

What I was interested in knowing were the resources "new to you," that you see listed when you haven't purchased a package yet; the ones I hadn't purchased previously, either individually or in a Crossgrade.

And that's what the suggestions above showed me how to do.

And I wanted to click on the resource title, and be able to jump right to that resource. Again, that's what these suggestions allow me to do.

I am very humbled by the knowledge shared here.

No - it just takes you to the product page.

And what I will have got through that purchase will depend on what I had before
