just download the books

This is what we have been told!  You're not relying on the cloud because you can download them to your mobile device. Well, we discover that information isn't true. I'm not bothered by cloud disruptions, but to find out that downloaded books are not accessible without cloud when the cloud is down is outright disturbing.  

Would someone from logos please give us an official update?  The status.faithlife.com keeps saying that it is up then down then up then resolved.

I have similar problems. I can try to turn the page of a downloaded book on my iPad, but it'll sit there spinning it's wheels forever. This happens in particular when I have a weak wireless signal. When I can get to a place to fix the signal, the new page will snap into place. So, even if the book data is on my device, it's still trying to do something in the cloud before it lets me read. Very frustrating.
