Latest update lost some of the books that I downloaded

Before starting my holiday I took time to select some books to read and made sure that they were all downloaded. A couple of days ago the app updated and has lost the downloaded books along with the details of those books from my recent activity. As far as I can tell the Bibles that II had downloaded survived and everything else has been lost.

There were some issues with the network a couple of days ago. If you have not already done so, shutdown and restart your tablet/phone, start the app, and wait about 5 minutes. That will be the 1st step. If the app does not begin downloading your previous books, downloading manually may be an option.

Others in the forums may suggest further action.

It should never be necessary to shut down and restart the device unless there is a problem with the physical device and/or Android itself.
