I get this crash too. I wonder if it's a malformed link in the resource. New American Commentary exhibits the same behaviour.
This is my personal Faithlife account. On 1 March 2022, I started working for Faithlife, and have a new 'official' user account. Posts on this account shouldn't be taken as official Faithlife views!

I was also thinking a bad link ... but would not have expected a bad link in a resource to cause the app to bomb. A 'bad link' message, or 'missing resource' message would be a little more graceful ... hence bug!

The links seem to work both in Believers Church Bible Commentary and New American Commentary on MacBook Pro.
