Hang on launch - Logos 5 - OS X 10.11 (15A282a) GM

Hi Logos,

Noticed around a week ago with the OS X 10.11 Public Beta that Logos 5 would hang upon launch. Today I installed the GM Release Candidate of 10.11 and the same thing is happening. Not sure if this is a coincidence or is due to changes in El Capitan.

Here are the logs.

I have already downloaded and installed Logos 5 again over the current installation. I am yet to completely uninstall the application with all of the associated library and reference files ect...

Is this a known issue with OS X 10.11 or should I be proceeding with an uninstall?

The first thing I would try is upgrading to the free Logos 6 engine.

Thanks Integ - I actually didn't realize until now that the new base core engine was free. From all that I saw I though I would have to upgrade to the new starter package.

Might I suggest trying the free upgrade to Logos 6? there are a number of Mac users, and I haven't heard of any issues with 6.

Option 3 is free. If you do decide to upgrade to 6, might I suggest building a relationship with a salesperson to get the best deals. My personal favorite is Rusty Davidson (rusty.davidson@faithlife.com). Let him know I sent you

Thanks both of you! Logos 6 seems to have fixed the hang.

Hopefully this was just a coincidence with my install and not something with El Capitan or there might get more of us old Logos 5's asking here soon!
