Mine has always done that and I assumed it was my computer and not the software.
I just started to experience this in the latest beta. I also suspect that the recent sync issues may be contributing
Not sure about Sync, but the delay often amounts to "Logos not responding" i.e. SLOW. On the same machine, same PG, the response is snappy for the stable version.

You may be right about the sync. Looking at the log again, it looks (from a novice who knows just enough to be dangerous[;)]) like the problem may have something to do with the under the hood activity associated with the new multiple resources feature.

If you are referring to
AssociatedResourcesResourceViewComponent Opened 25 SRA resources in series (with LLS:BARNES33MIC):
then this is similar to Stable which has:

Yesterday / today the Barnes Micah volume took a leisurely 8.6s / 8.9s whilst the stable version took 0.5s / 0.8s - same machine.
Not acceptable.

Agreed. I would expect the resource to open in less than a second after clicking the link on the passage guide.
We are aware of the issue and have a patch in place for the next beta.
Additionally, looking at the logs, I see you have hidden what looks to be a majority of the Perseus Collection. If you no longer want that collection, I would suggest contacting our support department asking to remove it. They can be reached at either support@logos.com or 1-800-875-6467 Monday-Saturday from 6am-6pm PDT.
Thanks Steve, looking forward to the fix.
Regarding the hidden resources you are correct. I have hidden the foreign language resources ( Greek, Latin, etc). Do hidden resources slow the program down? Is it possible to have just a portion of Perseus removed?
o hidden resources slow the program down?
If you have logging enabled, they will all be logged at startup; this is the only thing I can think of that might slow the application down (and even that logging is done in the background, so it shouldn't affect startup perf too much).

This issue seems to be fixed in RC 1. Thank you!
Yes, much better. Barnes is ten times faster!
