Changing accounts

Hi to All,

Could anyone tell me how to change account from one person's to another person's in Logos 6. If I am correct, once Logos 6 is installed on a computer - there is no way another person could have another account on the same computer because of the fact one cannot sign out of their account. It does not allow for the signing out or signing in of an account; that decision is built into the installation of the software where one can only sign in.

PLEASE PROVE ME WRONG ON THIS. THANK YOU.

If you hold down the CTRL key (CMD for Mac) and keep it down while clicking on the Logos icon (shortcut) to open Logos. Then Logos will open the following window:

from there you can enter the User ID & PW for the account that you want to open.

[P.S. - it is very import to keep the CTRL key down prior to double-clicking Logos shortcut AND keep it down until you see the above window appear]

 

P.S.2  -  Each user on the same window's user account will need to install Logos on the window's user account (if you plan on having more than 1 person running different Logos user accounts). Logos will keep separate document folders (and other stuff) for each Logos user account on the same window's user account. [Edit: i am not positive this is necessary; Logos might create the needed secondary stuff after you login]

Often people create different window's user accounts when more than 1 person shares the same computer. But if it is a shared family computer, then some people will stick with a single window's user account (helps with sharing other programs; e.g. MS Office). Logos will work in both of these scenarios.
