The application is closed by Windows as soon as it starts up

I can't access my Logos application from Windows 10. I updated to Logos 6 and then a few weeks later updated to Windows 10. However, I didn't try Logos 6 before I updated to Windows 10, so I don't know if it is a compatibility problem with Windows 10 or if there is something really wrong with my Logos. Basically, all I do know is that I can't use Logos 6 with Windows 10. I open it, and it loads the toolbars at the top (but not the homepage), then the dialog box appears that says "Logos Bible Software has encountered a problem and needs to close." That is as far as I get.4643.Logos Log Files.zip

I don't get much info from those logs, but enable diagnostic logging, update to the latest version and upload the log files folder if it still crashes.

I already did those things. The logs you looked at are the result of it. I opened it while pressing the ctrl key and then sent you those logs. Perhaps I'm missing a step in the process?

I requested the update because the logs show you don't have the latest version of Logos!
If you update Logos from the link provided then upload logs + details from the Windows Event Viewer if it still crashes.
Please confirm that Logos crashes with CTRL key pressed WITHOUT showing a Sign-in window (if you sign in you should get a blank layout)

Thanks for letting me know, I'll try it

Opening it while pressing the ctrl key does work to bring up the blank layout. That stays open. So I let it update to the latest version and index the library. But then when I clicked on the home page icon, that is when it crashes. Opening it without the ctrl key crashed it immediately because it tries to open the home page.
So I attached the log file from that.

I'll look at the log later.
In the meantime open to a blank layout and use Program Settings to change your Startup (At Startup...) from Home Page to a layout.

That really helps, thank you. I'm back into my library

This is typically indicative of a third-party DLL (often malware) interfering with the "Windows Sockets" OS component. It's most easily diagnosed by calling Tech Support and having them collect a crash dump from your system.
