"The Precious and Sacred Writings of Martin Luther"

Concerning "The Precious and Sacred Writings of Martin Luther" and "The Letters of Martin Luther" I have a few questions.

Is there material in these Community Pricing resources that are not included in Luther's Works?

And why do the last 7 volumes upgrades to Luther's Works cost almost as much as the first 55 volumes? That seems a bit out of balance.

I don't know the details, but the 55 volume Luther's Works is actually quite light on his sermons, and the 7 CP offering has quite a bit more of them - both Postils, I believe instead of "important" selections from them.

As for the new volumes, Concordia is paying for new translations of works, and so new works are going to be more expensive than works from the mid 20th century that have been paid for already... It is a drag, but an economic reality.
