The new Lexicon by Beale shows up like this in the BWS:
Perhaps this can be corrected?
Thank you for this beautiful resource!
Hans
If you mean there are no glosses, then it depends on tagging for a Gloss Text search field, which you can check in Information >> Search Fields. Louw-Nida has Gloss Text, so I'm surprised your BWS shows none as it appears in my BWS.
Hello Dave,
I'm just referring to the NAME this resource is given in BWS.
I can see the results as you see them.
Thanks for your interest in this wonderful topic.
You can change that name as follows, in its Information page
Click and change.
Note: it may display "Short title" instead.
Thank you Dave! I have learned one aspect more of Logos!
You caused me to change a few - IGEL was meaningless (Intermediate Greek English Lexicon)!
tagging for a Gloss Text search field
Vocabulary of the Greek New Testament by Moulton and Milligan has the Gloss Text as a search field but never shows anything in the BWS view.
I assume there are no tags with Gloss Text there.
Is there a way to see the tags within the text in Logos?
Some lexicons have glosses in bold text, one Vocabulary has them in columns, but you have to figure this out by looking at the glosses in BWS and seeing how, if at all, the words are formatted in the resource.
Note that you can search for specific words in that field:-
This might help you with M & M i.e. a search for (really, certainly, "in truth") will tell you which of these words in the text for ὄντως are glosses.
Instead of All Text, click and choose Gloss Text
Thanks Dave, this made it!
And I've learnt something new and useful about Logos that I can apply for other research!
