Looking Up Bible Passages while OffLine (iPad Mini)

I know there must be a simple way to look Bible verses up when I'm off line, but I can't seem to figure it out. I know I lose a lot of functionality, including sync, but I really would like to be able to read from my Bible when WIFI isn't available. I'll probably feel pretty silly when I see the answer, but... (I'm using the mobile app on an iPad mini 2.)

Thanx,

I am not quite sure what you are having troubles with. Did you download the bible? Do you actually own the bible? Are you trying to do a search, or simply navigate? If the later, press the left justified icon (I have no idea why they chose that icon) to the right of the reference bar. A verse selector will appear.

Reading offline and basic searches should be capable assuming you have downloaded you Bible to your iPad. For anything more like word study of greek hebrew or even a simple passage hide it is not a possibility at this time. It may feel silly to some of us that Logos mobile apps lack this functionality when most of their competitors mobile apps do it wonderfully. If greater offline capabilities are something you want I would suggest you got to: https://logosmobile.uservoice.com/forums/190765-logos-mobile-apps/suggestions/3613782-simple-offline-guides-and-lookups (Simple Offline Guides and Lookups) and put a vote or 3 towards this. Many votes went to prayer lists and FL is on the verge of releasing them. I have no idea when or if enhanced offline functionality is coming to FL mobile apps but FL way of deciding is responding to feedback like this. Seemingly odd to me because I would bet most people simply walk with their wallets to one of the others to get them, as the "UserVoice" is not something easy to stumble upon and many users never even make it to this forum.
