Share Layout
It would be great to be able to share a layout similar to how we share note files

Good suggestion. I think that it has been suggested before, but the thought got cold. I'm curious if there is a specific file associated with the layouts.

Ah, for the days of Libronix! You could do that easily.
Since there are now no layout files to share this would take some work by Faithlife.

I haven't really thought about this, Mark. Obviously, something is stored somewhere. What, exactly, is that? Apparently, whatever it is uploads to the FL servers. How hard would it be to make it uploadable to a FL groups as a document?

On the surface I don't think it would appear to be any harder than anything else we share. Everything is now stored as a database record. But I don't' know enough about the bigger picture to know what potential difficulties might be involved. If it can happen at some point though it would be great - Thinking about the use of Logos Bible Software in online education - I am sure the ability to share layouts would be valued by instructors in addition to the adhoc sharing that use to occur in the day of Libronix.

They are, like our documents, stored in a database life (layouts.db). I don't know how hard to would be. I suspect most of the code written for uploading our Documents to Faithlife would be usable for uploading layouts, so there may be little else that needs to be written.
It's a good idea.

UserVoice has many layout suggestions, but none of them have document sharing.
