Help! How do you take an orriginal text and transliterate it.

I am an accordance for mac software user and it is very elegant and easy to use, but recently purchased Logos 4 for PC as the MAC version is still under development and I love the library choices.

My question is how does one take and original text and copy it transliterated to a word processor? Is there any simple way?

one way that I can think of is this:

take an interlinear like the UBS4 and turn off all of the lines except the transliterated manuscript line...then copy and paste to a word processor....

I use Snagit but some people here use Jing, or you can use the snip tool in Win7, or the snip tool in Onenote.

Is there a way to read the greek with the paragraphs/pericopes separated rather than having to look at the periccope sets through passage analysis.

Yes, the Iliad is also an interlinear and I keep everything turned off except the Greek text, but when I pasted it into a Word document I had the same problem. I just edited out everything I didn't want.

Mark / Kevin .... if you don't get an answer on Logos4, you can always use Logos3. I have the same problem on Logos4 but Logos3 is 'copy-heaven' for interlinears, allowing you to pick/choose which lines and good-size chunks.

As much as George is uncomfortable with interlinears, his instructions for installing Logos3 are great (bottom of http://community.logos.com/forums/p/30096/222864.aspx#222864 ).

It wouldn't help if it were right next door. You missed the Bellingham Tech Night. It was "Tuesday - May 20, 2008."

Now I could really get into it if Tech Night were a monthly outing at a coffee shop or pub to chat about technology and faith. I might even drive the hour down across the border to Bellingham for it.
