Note Files

I am having a problem with putting in Notes in L4. I hover over the verse and right click the mouse- in approx. 15 sec. my computer stops working for approx. 15-20 sec. Then it opens back up to the Notes files and the color dots. Then I am able to type in the note content. I have no trouble displaying the notes after they are in Logos. I am jsut slow putting them in. Can anyone tell me an easier way to do this? Tech support says I need 512 memory but that's not possible on my laptop.

I don't thing there is an easier way to do this with your current hardware. It might be best if you use L3 until you get a new computer that meets Logos' technical requirements. You can use most of your L4 books ( http://blog.logos.com/archives/2009/12/using_your_new_logos_4_resources_in_logos_3_or_logos_for_mac_1.html ) and performance will be much better. Also, note importing should be out soon so any notes you take in Libronix will be preserved when you finally take the leap to L4.

This is common. One thread records up to 30 seconds if the note file has a lot of entries. I have a newer Dell with 3 mgs of ram and it takes up to 30 seconds to enter a note. The screen goes white, says Logos is not responding, etc.

This is perhaps related: I just imported my somewhat-commented "47" Note Files from Logos 3, and it appears to me that even when I simply start-up the Logos 4 application, the screen flashes for each(?) Note File I imported, taking about 15-30 seconds for each flash, at which time the application is completely inaccessible. I have a pretty fast computer, btw (Intel Core 2 Duo Processor at 2.6 GHz each processor; 4GB RAM)
