Library content

With Logos 3 I could select the tools menu and sort the content of my library by running bibliography. Can that still be done using Logos 4? If not how is one supposed to remember the content of their library? I have 2499 books...
Thanks
Steve

Right now Logos 4 doesn't have a Bibliographic report like Libronix did. It seems to me they will eventually make one. see: http://community.logos.com/forums/t/4352.aspx . Mark Barnes made a web-based Bibliographic report in the interim. see: http://www.4-14.org.uk/off-topic/logos4-bibliographic-report

Steve,
Exactly what information are you interested in an in what form? The Library pane gives you multiple ways to sort and view your resources. The new nature of Collections can help you create collections that will stay up-to-date with new acquisitions. Perhaps there is already a way to accomplish what you want in L4.

I want to print a list of my books so I can see what I have.

I haven't tried the approach Kevin recommended, but that would be it right now if it can get you a print copy.
In 4.0b which is in beta testing there will be a way to export to a bibliography from within collections. When that becomes available, you would create a collection with all your resources and use that method.
Here's a screen shot of the text file that feature produces on just one small collection (sorry it isn't too clear):

It can be used to print. Depending on the format you choose (pictures or not) it becomes a looooong document!

Saving it as "html" is a little easier to read as it puts a space between each resource. But, yes, it is a LONG page if you are basing it's output from a large collection!
However, I'm sure many out there will appreciate this new (beta 4.0b) feature when it is finally implemented

How did you do this Kevin? Or are you referring to the L3 version?

Mark Barnes' solution can include pictures (resource covers).

Thanks Kevin:
That may just be the incentive I need to try it!

I am yet to try Mark's solution, have tried the new L4.0b report, but no pics. I need to output something to paper that looks like the onscreen library view which has the larger thumnails.
Will the Logos bibliography ever have the ability to include covers to cater for the visual people?
