I'm working through the lesson on Sub-Genres in the Gospels in BI100 reading up on parables. Zuck in Basic Biblical Interpretation talks about different ways of classifying them - by subject/theme , common character emotional element etc.  Even thought it is a fairly small dataset a parables explorer similar to the Psalms and Proverbs explorers on the parables of Jesus would be a interesting tool. Of course there are parables outside of the gospels and the tool could be expanded to include those but as starting point in Logos Now one that looks just at the parables of Jesus in the Gospels would be useful.  Other classification that it might include could be the audience  - who was Jesus teaching? Which Gospel is it found. I am sure there are other resources that offer some further classification options, FSB for instance talks about themes like discipleship, community, mercy, judgement and the last days
