There's one by Morris (older) and one by Kruse (Newer). I thought it odd that there were two in the series on the same Biblical book.
Anyone know why?
EDIT: NM, I found this article and explained it. I had thought it was about the NPP, but found little saying it was the reason.

It's not unusual for a commentary series to replace older volumes, especially when waves of research makes an older version seem out of touch with current conversations. Carson notes in the Editor's Preface of the volume by Kruse, "Moreover, in recent decades (to go back no further), Romans has called forth a disturbingly large array of interpretations. That means a good commentary must not only provide a reliable unpacking of the text, but it must also be a useful guide to the plethora of books and essays that swirl around this letter."

Does this mean that Kruse adopts the NPP, or simply discusses it?
He does not adopt it. He says, "While it is true that ethnocentrism and exclusivism were aspects of the Judaism that Paul criticized, he was equally if not more critical of the legalistic tendencies found among some of his fellow Jews."
The Morris commentary seems to have appeared before the Pillar series came out. I discovered that by accident when I found a print copy of it.
Exactly, there was 3 or 4 (might have even been 5) commentaries that gathered together to create a new series called Pillar. It is not surprising that at least some of the series original volumes might be commissioned to be replaced with volumes coming fully inline with the series format.
