Hi! For some reason, my Logos 6 product wouldn't load today. The splash screen would display and the program would just hang there. Unfortunately, I didn't have logging turned on. I decided to uninstall the program and reinstall it. Now, I can't get Logos to reinstall. I downloaded a new LogosSetup.exe. When I try to run it, nothing displays. The Logos installer is shown as running in Task Manager, but it doesn't show any activity (such as using any disk or CPU) and the memory consumption doesn't go above 1.3 MB.
Any clues on how to get Logos going again?
When I uninstalled Logos, Windows displayed a message that the uninstallation couldn't continue because something was still in use. However, when I clicked on Cancel, it seemed to go ahead with the uninstall anyway (most of the Logos files were deleted and the program was removed from Programs and Features). I rebooted and was able to delete the rest of the Logos files.
Perhaps there is some residue in the registry that wasn't cleaned out during the uninstallation. Is there a utility to completely eradicate Logos? Since the program is no longer listed in Programs and Features, I can't just try to uninstall it again.
