I saw that Floyd posted a review. It made me think of this book by Joel Rosenburg, I have it on hard copy it is one about ten print books that i have from the USA.

So begins the first column of the Copper Scroll, one of the most intriguing, and baffling, scrolls to be found among the collection known as the Dead Sea Scrolls.
Reading this was a joy, I finished it in about 3 - 4 days almost could not put it down.
