Just got a promo for this from NG. Haven't heard of this until now but it seems that National Geographic is doing some sort of biog of Jesus's life. Has anyone heard of this project before? Looks interesting but it's coming from NatGeo not your typical source for Christian history.
I have mixed feelings about the NG doing this. I love the NG and have since I was young enough to struggle to grow a beard. After having read an article about a place that I was very familiar with I never quite believe they they are painting rounded pictures of places. I feel that they paint a picture that I would like the place to be but it seems airbrushed somehow. There seems to be a quaintness that is not there in real life.
Hopefully they will make a more rounded job of this project than I remember in the past.
