pop up window stays on

I opened up Witherington's Socio-Rhetorical Commentary on 1/2 Thess, and then another work and I noticed this:

 

 

it would not just "go away."  Well, i just now went back to it, and moused over it, and it went away.  Not even sure when/how the popup appeared.  I had had the book open side by side, then closed it and opened the Acts Commentary.  Sometime after that is when I noticed the popup.  It may be nothing, but the behavior was a little strange to me.
