I know this has been discussed before, but I have been on Windows 10 Pro since early August, and the ONLY program that has caused my laptop display to black out and force me to power off and on (with sometimes debilitating consequences) is Verbum. I am on 6.6 SR-1.
I have updated to the latest NVIDIA drivers. All program updates are current. I know this could be Windows, display driver, WPF bugs; I know it could be because Verbum stresses the system more than other apps I use. But I use Word, Powerpoint, Quicken, remote software, iTunes, Youtube, and others, all which are pretty big software packages. It seems odd the only time this happens is with Verbum, and it seems to happen when there is Library activity commencing. But it only happens about once a week. I have updated graphics drivers 3 or 4 times since Windows 10 has come out, getting the latest from NVIDIA's web site.
Even though it happens about once a week or so, it is almost becoming a case where I cannot have anything open while running Verbum, in case the display goes black.
Today, I had Verbum up, and I was watching one of the Logos Pro videos under Chrome. It was running fine, about 1 minute in. I switch over to Verbum, start an Exegetical Guide, and blackout. When I restarted the system (as nothing would bring the display back), I noticed it reported 1 new resource. I don't have proof, but it seems always to be related to new resources and/or library.
I just post this hoping Faithlife will spend some time playing with and stressing Logos and Verbum under Windows 10. I think there is a problem Verbum causes.
Here are logs just in case it helps.
